Mobile Vocational Evaluation

A truly portable vocational guidance system that integrates vocational abilities and interests with the individual's personal characteristics to provide a realistic and feasible match from the HES database of over 2,000 job titles.  Low in cost, high in productivity, the MVE is a versatile and comprehensive system used throughout the United States and around the world.

The MVE system includes software for unlimited use to process MVE data, the MVE Testing Manual, performance tests in their own carrying case, and ten each of the nine standardized paper and pencil tests.

The MVE is the ideal assessment tool for placement in a curriculum or a job, vocational training or post-secondary education.  The readable MVE report is a reference for a lifetime.

For Diverse Populations

The MVE is used by employers, vocational and private rehabilitation facilities and providers, hospitals and clinics, high school special education and career guidance programs, Labor Department and welfare-to-work providers.  It is a proven system among the general population, as well as individuals with physical or mental disabilities, welfare recipients, high school students, the unemployed, school dropouts, and recovering addicts.

Easy to Administer and Fun to Take

The MVE factor pure performance tests measure: Finger Dexterity, Wrist-Finger Speed, Arm-Hand Coordination, Manual Dexterity, Two-Arm Coordination, Reaction Time, Two-Hand Coordination and Aiming.  The group administered standardized paper and pencil tests measure:  Numerical and Verbal Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Following Directions, Perceptual Accuracy, Spatial Perception, Leadership Abilities, Sales Ability, Reading and Arithmetic Grade Levels.

Vocational Interests

The twelve major interest groups are represented in the interest inventory. 
Results are integrated with the job database generated by the individual's ability measurements and special needs, and sorts the feasible list of jobs according to interests determined by the individual.

Standardized Normative Data

The MVE system is based on a normative group of over 1,500 individuals throughout the United States and has been used in thousands of Workers' Compensation hearings.
